Shafat Sattar started his career at Unilever Bangladesh in 1983 after completion of MBA. He became marketing manager in 1986 & Head of Marketing (personal products) in 1988. He was then posted in Unilever Sri Lanka as Head of Marketing (personal products & toiletries). During his work tenure in Unilever he was involved in introduction of brands like CloseUp, Sunsilk, Lux, Pepsodent, Fair & Lovely, Axe & Impulse. In 1992, Mr. Sattar came back to Bangladesh to start his own business and is now a successful entrepreneur engaged in multiple business concerns in Bangladesh. He and Mr. Ahmadul Hoq formed Virgo in 2009.
Mr. Ahmadul Hoq started his IT Management career at British American Tobacco Group (BAT), Bangladesh, where he worked till 1997, before being posted as IT Director for the BAT Central Asia, Caucuses and Turkey based in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. In 2001, he became Head of Trade Marketing and Distribution IT, responsible for global CRM Strategy based in BAT Group headquarters in the UK. He remained in that position till 2007 before coming back to Bangladesh to start VIRGO.
Mr. Ahmadul Hoq is also the Founder President of Bangladesh Call Center Association (BACCO). He continuously provides insight and strategic direction for the whole call center industry of Bangladesh. Mr. Hoq is also the Vice President of Bangladesh Industrial Skills Council (ISC) for ICT.
JAK Zilani brings with him a solid experience of 4 ½ years with Biman Bangladesh Airlines (A/C Maintenance) and British American Tobacco Bangladesh for 27 years till 2011 where he served in Operation and also in IT as Functional Head.
He has experience in strategic planning, & execution of IT initiatives at local & SE Area Level i.e. migrating from legacy to ERP (SAP), outsourcing BPO, and integrating with mission critical applications. He has good knowledge on IR, risk management, and implementation of BCP & IT DRP.
Was chief Mechanical Engineer and Additional Director General before becoming Director General Bangladesh Railway in 2009. Joined Virgo in 2015. Brings with him 29 years of experience in Bangladesh Railway and the Government sector.
Md. Karim as a senior IT manager leads a very specialized and experienced team in managing different clients data processing, reporting and supporting auto call dialer. He is also responsible for Networking and Back Office Management. His experience in designing CRM, customizing and integrating with other applications including reporting to match client’s expectation is exemplary.
